Initial Acupuncture Appointment

Description

For clients who have not worked with us before, massage therapy clients who have not received acupuncture with us previously, or clients who are returning after a hiatus of 6 months or more. Initial Acupuncture appointment length is 60-75 minutes. The initial appointment consists of three parts: consultation, treatment, and follow-up care/recommendations. The consultation is our initial discussion, lasting approximately 10 minutes. During this time we will review pertinent medical history, current symptoms, goals, and create your treatment plan. The bulk of the remaining time will be devoted to providing acupuncture treatment with the last 5-10 minutes set aside to discuss follow-up care and practitioner recommendations. Please note: written medical clearance may be necessary for some individuals.
