Initial Appointment (New Clients)
Description
For clients who have not worked with us before, acupuncture clients who have not received massage therapy with us before, or massage therapy clients who are returning after a hiatus of 6 months or more. The initial appointment consists of three parts: consultation, treatment, and follow-up care/recommendations. The consultation is our initial discussion, lasting approximately 10 minutes. During this time we will review pertinent medical history, current symptoms, goals, and create your treatment plan. The bulk of the remaining time will be devoted to manual therapy with the last 5-10 minutes set aside to discuss follow-up care and practitioner recommendations. Please note: written medical clearance may be necessary for some individuals.
