Initial Lymphatic Therapy Appointment

Description

Lymphatic therapy is a light-touch modality used to support and enhance lymphatic function. It is especially helpful after surgery, lymph node biopsies, and orthopedic injury. LDT/MLD is an integral part of lymphedema management. As part of your initial Lymphatic Therapy appointment, we will discuss your lymphatic history (biopsies, surgeries, injuries, etc.), and provide treatment recommendations based on our assessments and hands-on treatment. Please note: You do not need to have a lymphedema diagnosis to receive LDT/MLD. If you have not received LDT/MLD previously, please contact us to discuss appropriateness of this modality for you PRIOR to your session.
